About the team 👋

The UK Customer Onboarding Manager works as part of our UK onboarding team, included within our UK business here at Samotics. In this role, the UK Customer Onboarding Manager will take on full responsibility for one or more of Samotics’ priority accounts and drive our onboarding activities as clients across the UK install Samotics SAM4 hardware.

This role involves working with our clients across the UK as well as their appointed framework installers to drive a right first-time installation of our hardware at pace, allowing our clients to reap early benefits of efficient SAM4 installation.

Our UK Onboarding team works alongside our broader UK business that includes our fantastic Strategic Account Executives, Customer Success managers, Asset Reliability Specialists and field based Reliability & Efficiency Technical experts to provide an end to end offering that drives world class customer service for our UK client base.


Job requirements

Your challenge 🎯

  • Support a world-class onboarding journey for Samotics’ UK customers

  • Support customer project management for SAM4 installations by implementing Samotics’ preferred project workflows, preparing meetings and guarding timelines

  • Act as a first point of contact for Samotics’ UK customers during the first interaction they have with our processes and services, bringing a customer-centric mindset and proactive attitude

  • Ensure frictionless transitions from the onboarding journey to elements of the wider customer journey

  • Provide technical troubleshooting assistance when questions or issues arise (e.g. installation errors or connectivity issues)

  • Liaise between Samotics’ UK customer needs and Samotics NL centralized resources (electrical installation specialists, edge devices engineers, product managers etc.)

  • Manage onboarding projects for Samotics’ UK customers, including in-person training on customer sites & installer locations around installation and troubleshooting for SAM4 products.  

  • Provide visible leadership and presence, both virtually and in-person, with UK based clients. Ensure that there is an emphasis on domestic presence and building in-person relationships is a priority.

  • Support in the creation of a Samotics onboarding centre of excellence where individuals support our global onboarding ambitions through knowledge and resource sharing. 


What you'll bring ⭐

  • You are UK based allowing you to be present and meet in person with our UK client base as well as wider installation partners. 

  • You will have a customer first mindset, helping us to deliver world class customer service and operational excellence for our clients. 

  • You thrive as part of a multi-national team, with individuals based within the UK and back in our Leiden HQ.

  • It would be preferable to come from an engineering background or have experience with working with IOT hardware within an industrial setting

  • You will be willing to travel, both domestically to client and installers, and to the Samotics HQ in Leiden, Netherlands periodically across the year and for whole company events
