About the team 👋

The UK Strategic Account Executive (SAE) is part of the UK Strategic priority team. In this role, the UK Strategic Account Executive will take on full responsibility for one or more of Samotics’ priority accounts and drive further expansions and renewals within these. 

Accounts consist of both asset owners and OEMs. The main objective is to upsell our technology to realize significant growth after initial results have been realized. Given the more complex nature of the deal making process in scope, account and stakeholder management skills are crucial in the role. The SAE will work with both central and local customer teams, as well as multiple teams within Samotics.

UK Strategic Account Executives also take the responsibility for seeking out and driving new business within the UK marketplace. SAE will undertake demonstrations of Samotics SAM4 product to potential clients, as well as sharing Samotics vision and product offering at conferences, trade shows and other public events. 


Job requirements

Your challenge 🎯

  • End-to-end commercial responsibility for scaling key accounts in our top priority industry verticals, for example by negotiating Global Framework Agreements to facilitate large-scale roll-outs

  • Develop strong relationships with our largest customers and partners and realize significant expansion of our ACV (Average Contract Value)

  • Lead and coordinate large tender processes (at asset owners)

  • Coordinate support, training and onboarding of strategic and sales partners (with non asset owners)

  • Close new strategic partnerships (mainly with non asset owners, such as OEMs)

  • Build our brand and market presence and be a role model of our cultural motto (‘act instead of react’) as we scale across the globe

  • Continuously gather and synthesize market feedback to improve our product and provide strategic guidance to other teams within Samotics (e.g. Product management)

  • Seek out & lead new business enquiries within the UK geography, leading the commercial negotiations against our enterprise pricing structure to be able to land and onboard new clients across sectors.

  • To provide visible leadership and presence both virtually and in person with UK based clients. Ensuring that there is an emphasis on domestic presence and building in person relationships. 

What you'll bring ⭐

  • Preferably you have 4+ years within Industrial Organizations with experience in a commercial or innovation roles

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in a SaaS or technology environment, preferably experience in B2B sales.

  • Organized, highly motivated individual with excellent customer communication, sales, and presentation skills

  • Advanced and proven project and stakeholder management skills in complex global environments

  • Proven track record of managing and scaling large industrial accounts 

  • Consultative selling approach with strong qualitative and quantitative skills

  • Occasional travel required.

  • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to set up and negotiate complex deal structures

  • Self-starting and positive attitude

  • BSc+ degree in a relevant field

  • Fluent in English, additional language is a plus
