About the team
You will be part of the UK Strategic priority team.
As a Key/Strategic Account Executive, you will take full responsibility for one or more of Samotics’ key accounts. You will work on growing existing partnerships and renewing contracts with our major customers, which include both asset owners and OEMs.
You will manage important stakeholders, coordinate internally with different teams, and drive significant account growth after initial success.
Besides expanding current accounts, you will also seek new business opportunities across the UK, represent Samotics at events, and showcase our solutions to potential clients.
Your challenge 🎯
Take full commercial responsibility for scaling key accounts in our top industry sectors.
Build strong relationships with customers and partners and significantly grow account value.
Lead and coordinate large tender processes with asset owners.
Support and onboard strategic and sales partners, ensuring they can successfully promote Samotics.
Find and close new strategic partnerships, mainly with OEMs.
Represent Samotics at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
Continuously gather market feedback to help improve our products and guide internal teams.
Seek out and lead new business opportunities, negotiating contracts based on our enterprise pricing model.
Build in-person relationships with clients across the UK, emphasizing domestic presence and visibility.
Job requirements
What you’ll bring ⭐
4+ years of experience in industrial organizations, in commercial, business development, or innovation roles.
4+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS or technology environments.
Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills in complex, global settings.
Proven success in managing and expanding large industrial accounts.
Ability to set up and negotiate complex deal structures.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor’s degree (BSc+) in a relevant field.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and abroad.
A consultative, value-driven sales approach.
Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
A proactive attitude: you act instead of react.
Motivation to drive results independently while working closely with internal and external teams.
