Are you a strategic yet hands-on commercial leader with a deeply embedded customer-first mindset and are you known for taking the lead in high-stakes negotiations, forging long-term industrial partnerships, and driving sustainable ARR growth in complex B2B environments? We are looking for a strong leader who will own the design and execution of the business unit’s commercial strategy, drive the growth of annual recurring revenue (ARR) through high-value, long-term partnerships, and lead a high-performing team of account executives and customer success managers. You will be responsible for building a robust network in core industrial markets (e.g., chemicals, water, steel, cement, mining), expanding our footprint, and delivering results that align with Samotics' ambitious growth trajectory. This role carries full P&L responsibility and reports directly to the executive team.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with a background in the chemicals industry, with a strong understanding of its market dynamics and stakeholder landscape.

Your challenge 🎯

Commercial Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement the go-to-market strategy for the Global Accounts business unit

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business with multinational industrial companies

  • Drive ARR growth through profitable, long-term contracts

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage a team of Account Executives and Customer Success Managers

  • Attract, hire, onboard, and retain top-tier commercial talent

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on results, learning, and collaboration

Market & Relationship Development

  • Build and expand a strong network of stakeholders across target industries (chemicals, water, mining, etc.)

  • Cultivate trusted relationships with senior level decision-makers and influencers in key accounts

  • Comfortable with monthly travel (1–2 customer visits per month)

Business Management

  • Own the P&L for the business unit, ensuring efficient and scalable operations

  • Track and report progress, learnings, and commercial KPIs to the Board and leadership team

  • Align with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of value to customers

Job requirements

What You'll Bring ⭐

  • 10–15 years of commercial or sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably selling to industrial companies

  • Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and building enterprise customer relationships

  • Demonstrated experience in managing, mentoring, and scaling high-performing commercial teams

  • Strong understanding of process automation or maintenance & reliability in industrial settings

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Qualifications desired ➕

  • Experience selling technology or software solutions (e.g., SaaS, condition monitoring, asset management, analytics platforms)

  • Track record of success in industries such as chemicals, steel, cement, water, or mining

  • Additional language skills: Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, or Arabic

  • Familiarity with long-cycle enterprise deal-making and navigating complex procurement processes
