About the team 👋

To help accelerate our growth, we are looking for a website product owner or website manager to work at the heart of our marketing team. You will be a part of the marketing team where you will work closely with our performance marketer, growth hacker and content teams. Together with them, you will act as the cornerstone of our most important organic lead generation channel, the website, and own this from start to finish.


Your challenge 🎯

  • Managing one of our most crucial lead generation channels. Our website serves as an important component of our customer journey, through which we initially educate and generate leads. You will be responsible for increasing the traffic volume and conversions on our website.

  • Own day-to-day website operations, this includes the management of our content management system (CMS), the creation of new pages, updating content, and liaising with the two external agencies that we work with to come up with improvements and implement changes on our website.

  • Own the design and creation of our website structure. You will own both the technical design and visual design of our website. The technical design will focus on elements like URL structure and hierarchy, user flows, and user experience. Whereas the visual design will revolve around the actual design and aesthetics of our website.

  • Increase traffic volumes. You will be responsible for leveraging our available channels, to name a few examples, SEO, SEA, Paid social, Organic social and many more to increase traffic volumes on our website. All these channels have their dedicated owners; it will be your role to collaborate with them by suggesting innovative ideas with the end goal of acquiring more website visitors.

  • Increase visitor conversion. As the goal of our website is primarily to generate leads, it is not only important to us to get more traffic onto our website but also to convert the visitors to leads. It will be your role to come up with conversion rate optimization initiatives and also practically make sure that we are able to implement and test the results of this effort.

  • Finally, you will own all our technology decisions. We currently work with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, ubersuggest, and HubSpot. We are looking for someone to take ownership across these platforms to ensure we gather high quality data and are able to generate relevant insights to help move our website forward. We expect some experience with these tools; expert experience with the tools would be considered a plus.

Job requirements

What you'll bring 

  • BSc/BA or MSc/MA degree. With good results.

  • A technical understanding of how websites work. We don’t (yet) have an internal web developer, so you’ll be the person to talk tech with our external agency. We do not require you to have any knowledge or experience with the coding language that our website is based on; React.Js. But if you have knowledge/experience it would be considered a plus.

  • SEO, CRO & UX/UI experience. You’ll be our website traffic & conversion expert, so we expect you to provide best practices based on real experience in the field.

  • 2 to 6 years of relevant work experience. We are aware that we are looking for a jack and jill of all trades and thus we are also open to ambitious people who have (some) experience with these topics and who are willing (and albe) to learn.

  • Fluency in English. Most of our customers (and many of our employees) don’t speak Dutch, so English is our official company language.

  • Affinity for technology. We sell a very technical product to industrial engineers. You’ll need to understand both what we do and what our customers do.

  • A proactive personality. Our company culture is built around freedom and teamwork.
