About the team 👋

The team consists of you and your manager, the General Counsel. You will be rewarded with a lot of freedom and autonomy from the very beginning.

Your challenge 🎯

Your main focus will be negotiating and completing commercial contracts with our suppliers and customers and assisting the Business Development Managers in finding the right balance between commercial and legal requirements. Furthermore, you will:

• work with existing and potential future investors to facilitate future funding rounds, from due diligence to closing

• set up and maintain group structure, prepare shareholders- and supervisory board meetings

• constantly maintain our contract management system

• manage the company's insurance policies

• safeguard the intellectual property rights

• make sure Samotics remains compliant

• handle employment related issues and support People & Organization department with updating template agreements

What you’ll bring ⭐

• 4 to 7 years of relevant working experience in a law firm and/or as a legal counsel within a company

• A Dutch a law degree

• Vast experience in transactional work and/or commercial contracting

• Fluency in both English and Dutch

• Excellent communication skills

• Good ability to manage internal and external stakeholders’ expectations
