For Whom?

This role is ideal for recent graduates in mechanical- or electrical engineering, with excellent communication skills and a pragmatic and ‘customer-first’ mindset. You are passionate about mechanical/ electrical engineering, but more importantly: you love to help our customers increase the uptime of their assets, by diagnosing and communicating upcoming failures well in time! This is a role in which you can develop and practice data analysis, technical customer support and translating technical findings into actionable advice.

Your team

As an Asset Reliability Specialist (ARS), you will be a member of the Customer Success Management (CSM) department. You will form a team with the dedicated Customer Success Managers to bring most value to our customers. You will analyze operational data to identify unhealthy patterns and come up with potential solutions in terms of changes in the operational set up and/or control of the assets to improve performance and elongate the lifetime of the equipment. A good understanding of process, mechanical and/or electrical engineering are therefore a must.

You will also work closely with our Data Scientists, Electrical Signature Analysis Specialists and Software Development team on continuously developing our tooling and processes for asset monitoring—thereby improving the quality of our analyses and advice to customers and making your work even more enjoyable and efficient.


Your challenge 🎯
You’ll work closely with our Data Science team, the Customer Success Managers and above all: Our Customers. You play a crucial role in delivering the value of our Electrical Signature Analysis condition monitoring service to our customers. It is your responsibility to work closely together with our customers and understand in detail the monitored electric machines, driven equipment (pumps, conveyors, fans, compressors, etc.) and processes in which these operate. Based on this understanding, you will analyze the alarms that are triggered by our algorithms on upcoming failures and advise the customer on adequate maintenance actions in order to prevent failure and unplanned downtime. You are a customer’s first point of contact, when it comes to any outstanding incidents on the monitored assets.

You will: 

  • Assess the technical fit of potential customers’ assets with our technology, to make sure we can solve the issues that the customer is facing and we have high chances of success

  • Analyze current and voltage data, frequency spectra and the various indicators that our Data Science team have developed in order to form a clear understanding of what the origin is of any deviation in the data from normal asset behavior and what might be causing the deviation

  • Translate these insights into practical maintenance/inspection advice for our customers, in order to prevent asset failure and unplanned downtime

  • Support Customer Success Managers in preparing regular touchpoints with our customers by analyzing assets’ operations and identifying unhealthy patterns

  • Provide the input required to continuously improve our tooling and processes for asset monitoring

Job requirements

What you'll bring ⭐
  • Masters degree in Process, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar or 
    Bachelor’s Degree (HBO) in Process, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering plus at least 5 years' relevant experience in Asset Reliability / Maintenance / Condition Monitoring of industrial equipment

  • Great communication skills and a ‘customer-first’ mindset and attitude

  • Fluency in English
