About the team 👋

Over the past year, we have seen a large surge in the amount of successes and value generated for our growing customer base. After a successful Series A funding round, closing strategic partnerships and landing large framework agreements with end-users in the past 12 months, we are looking to maintain our exponential growth in the coming years and meet increased customer demand for its analytics services. Therefore, we are looking to add multiple Business Development Managers to strengthen the commercial team further. 

Your challenge 🎯

As a Business Development Manager at Samotics, you will play a pivotal role in propelling our company's growth by identifying and developing new market opportunities. Your primary focus will be on expanding our reach within uncharted industry verticals, leveraging our unique technology to meet and exceed our ambitious growth targets

Your key responsibilities:

• Strategically identify and develop new business opportunities within untapped industry verticals, aligning with Samotics' mission to reduce energy consumption.

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.

• Forge and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and positioning Samotics as a key partner in achieving their sustainability goals.

• Collaborate closely with the product and marketing teams to align business development strategies with market demand and product capabilities.

• Lead the charge in expanding Samotics' market presence, embodying our ethos of proactive action and customer centricity in every interaction.

• Provide strategic insights to the leadership team, influencing the direction of product development and market positioning based on market feedback and trends.

What you'll bring ⭐

• A proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the SaaS or technology sectors, with at least 5 years of commercial experience.

• A dynamic, strategic thinker with a knack for uncovering new business opportunities and a passion for driving technological adoption on a global scale.

• Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with clients and internal teams alike to drive business growth.

• A consultative approach to sales, combining strong analytical skills with a keen understanding of customer needs.

• Flexibility for occasional travel, with a readiness to engage with clients and industry partners across the globe.
